Usually whenever we play a former player I have this sinking feeling that they are going to go off against us. Not feeling that with hockenson.
Imagine he tries to block Rodrigo on a run play, and Rodrigo just hip tosses him to the ground while Hutch drops Cook for a loss. I would lose it.
How are we treating Hock this weekend at the game? He’s a great guy, but I still feel like I should boo whenever he catches it, just because.

I don’t know. His comment didn’t bother me when he said it because it was true. He dealt with some horrible years with Rocket man and a full rebuild with MCDC. He wasn’t part of the problem. He wasn’t part of the future either. A $15m TE is the final piece for a team.
All football players want to win and he did a lot of losing in Detroit. That stuff weighs on players at some point.
I don’t think his comments were directed on MCDC in any way and we started to win after he left because our entire team is basically 1 and 2 year players who needed time to learn NFL speed.

This comment by Hock was an absolute cheap shot—kicking us when we were down, at 1-6—and our fans and players should respond accordingly.
I hope he stays healthy throughout the game. Otherwise I wish him the worst—hope he gets booed and plays terribly.
