[Bondy] Knicks and Cam Reddish’s reps working toward trade after team’s failure to find a role: source

>Less than a year after acquiring Cam Reddish for a first-round pick, the Knicks still don’t have a role for the young wing and are working with his representatives on a trade, a source told the Daily News.

>Reddish was pulled from the rotation this week, logging his first healthy DNP of the season in a victory over the Cavs. He started eight games this season and showed flashes of the blue-chip potential that made him the 10th pick in 2019 while averaging 8.4 points in 22 minutes.

>According to the Athletic’s Fred Katz, the Knicks are willing to attach Reddish to a trade to unload the contract of Evan Fournier, who is also out of the rotation.

  5. Reddish will be an interesting study for how long of a NBA career you can have simply because you were highly ranked in high school.

    Walker : Salary dumped after a year

    Noel: Salary dumped after a year

    Burks: Salary dumped after a year

    Fournier: Probably will be salary dumped after a year and a half

    Rose: looking to trade him after a year and a half, maybe fetches them a 2nd rounder or two.

  13. Fournier goes from starting to DNP’s, Cam takes his spot as a starter then gets DNP’D, Either Thibs is actually a moron who has no idea what he’s doing, or the FO is straight up forcing him to do this

  18. Wasnt he playing well. I would take him in LA we seem to have success with former first round picks that dont live up to their original draft status

  30. The games I watched this year, he looked pretty good. His shot was looking good, trying on defense and making some good plays. I thought he had found a role, but I guess not. I think thibs is hard to figure out for a lot of players, you don’t know where you stand with him at timesz
