Edit: Yep. I think AA is banking on Jimenez pitching like he did in 2022. When you only check his ERA and WAR things might look a bit bleak, but his advanced stats were really really good last season so he might have finally figured things out.
Only allowed 4 HRs in 56 IP. There’s a huge gap between his ERA and FIP in 2022, which could’ve been caused by Detroit’s bad defense. K/BB rate was top 7 among MLB relievers with more than 50 IP, same with his FIP.
Imagine having not one but two Minters out of the bullpen. We’ll have to see, but he could be a legit weapon.
Maybe a good setup man for Minter/Iggy?

He was definitely the Tigers’ best reliever last year, I’m not super sure about the prospects you shipped our way, but you’re not gonna be too worried when Jimenez enters the ballgame (as long as he pitches like last year)
Also, just wanted to say I had the chance to visit Truist last season (July 8th vs Nationals) and y’all were a classy group of people, beautiful stadium too. I’ll be tuning into Braves games this year for sure
