Maurice Richard had 5 goals in a game, the day after being moving man for his family.
And I googled just be sure, Darryl Sittler, 6 goals and 10 points.

Mika's was amazing because it was during the playoff hunt and his 5 goal game came during what was considered a must-win game at the time. Lost it and they were essentially out, win and they live to fight another day. And then Mika scores his 4th goal to tie the game late and then scores the 5th goal in OT. Just legendary stuff.
He was also scoring at an outrageous pace at the time. Something like 22 goals in 18 games or something. Too bad Covid canceled the rest of the regular season literally less than a week later. He was in contention for the Richard that year and the way he was shooting, he had a realistic shot of it.
Laine was in two of those games
