On Wednesday night, Tage Thompson became the fourth player in NHL history to tally four goals in the first period, a group including Peter Bondra (1994), Grant Mulvey (1982) and Joe Malone (1921). After scoring a fifth goal, Thompson also became the second player in Buffalo Sabres history with five goals in a game (Dave Andreychuk was the first in 1986). The five goals tie Thompson for second in NHL history in goals in a road game.

What an exceptional talent, I'm so thrilled for Sabres fans. They have a kid like this who's only gonna grow into a better player over the years !!
very impressive 😎
That is your daddy.
I can say that shot is like Laine has and Ovechkin! The velocity of it is outstanding
How the commentator butcher the name Tage is nothing but a violation to this classic Swedish name
This is impressive and he might be the next Wayne Gretzky but that goalie looked terrible
100 mph one timer, Damn Korpisalo had no shot. He couldn’t of been more than 45 feet from the net.
I feel like Tage Thompson rn
Well done video. Tage, in the span of what? 15 months? Has exceded doubts, expectations, projections, whatever you want to name it, and has proven he will be/is a superstar in the NHL.
