#NHLVideos: Tage Thompson: Into NHL History

On Wednesday night, Tage Thompson became the fourth player in NHL history to tally four goals in the first period, a group including Peter Bondra (1994), Grant Mulvey (1982) and Joe Malone (1921). After scoring a fifth goal, Thompson also became the second player in Buffalo Sabres history with five goals in a game (Dave Andreychuk was the first in 1986). The five goals tie Thompson for second in NHL history in goals in a road game.

  1. What an exceptional talent, I'm so thrilled for Sabres fans. They have a kid like this who's only gonna grow into a better player over the years !!

  2. Well done video. Tage, in the span of what? 15 months? Has exceded doubts, expectations, projections, whatever you want to name it, and has proven he will be/is a superstar in the NHL.
