My first favorite player, he’s why my chubby ass asked my 8th grade coach to try me at TE even though I was playing NT and OG at the time. Every time I dropped a pass, which was most of the times, he let out a big “c’mon Shockey!”
Damn, I have a love hate thing with Shockey. He had fire for sure, but sometimes it got him into trouble on the sidelines. He came up big in the SB tho
The Shockey helmet throw will live on as one of the most bad ass plays of all time
I like Shockey. I just always think of him as a Giant.
I got drunk last year and a bought a signed Shockey jersey for $40 off of an auction site. Looks great next to my drunken Cam Jordan signed cleat.
