5. Huge point but brutal way to end it. Two bad turnover from Larkin with Ben chairot playing forward?

   Dude should have just dumped it and changed.

7. Didnt think i would see the day when Larkin ran out of gas, he looked really slow coming back backchecking.

8. Second game of the year lost when a veteran threw a blind backhand pass in overtime. Frustrating to say the least.

   Gutty road trip though.

9. 3 on 3 is so boring to watch nowadays. They should seriously consider 10 minutes of 4 on 4. Puck possession is everything, recycling in the neutral zone like 10 times before a single shot is taken, the blue line essentially doesn’t matter, etc. It was fun before teams knew how to play it and it was pure scoring chances, but now it’s like the most boring version of hockey possible. Coaches got their hands on it, systems were implemented, and it’s plain fucking boring. It’s not a good look for the league. I hope it’s a topic of discussion at the next GM’s meeting.

    We have serious issues and it’s shown in the last several games. I don’t expect a ton from this team but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t improve.

17. 30 seconds left Larkin, just dump the stupid ass puck into the zone

18. Sloppiness in OT kills us yet again. Larkin’s gotta do better than that. No excuses.

    Discipline and consistency is the biggest issue with this team and until they learn both, they’re not gonna be challenging for the postseason anytime soon.

19. Looked miles better than the last game. 5 out of 8 on the road not too shabby!

20. Can’t believe Larkin did that— oh well. 5/8 points on the road trip is a win in my book.

21. 3v3 has become so stale to watch with this new meta of making the most conservative play possible. They need to take out the blue lines or extend the zones to center ice or just regular 5v5 for 5 then shooutout. Good point against dallas anyway.

23. I’m so over 3v3. Couple years ago it was fun and hectic. But now teams have solved the “meta” in overtime and just keep possession for as long as possible.

24. Dump the puck in if you’re that gassed, no player in the league could cut back fast enough to get to that lazy pass from Larkin.

25. Talk about your all time backfires.

    Pros have brain farts too, Larkin chose to have his at the worst possible time.

    Nice to get a point from this game anyhow.

    – we need a 3rd pairing right handed dman badly if it’s not gonna be oesterle and Walman always. Lindstrom is a liability, anyone who says otherwise isn’t objective.

32. We are barely at the halfway point of the season with an all new coaching staff (minus Tanguay) and an entirely new system and there’s already people saying Lalonde isn’t the guy. What…. what exactly were some of you expecting this season? A Cup run?
