  1. Just moving Trent would be pointless. it doesn’t do anything to put them in either direction.

  2. I mean we don’t really gotta make a move this year. It’s a great year to land in the lottery and watch one of GTJ/Barnes/Precious take that leap within the next few years.

  3. Gee, do we think that a team labelling the CORE FOUR as Fred, Scottie, Siakam and OG might not think a 5th member like Trent is all that valuable to them?

Do we maybe think that was the plan the entire time (as indicated by some reports from the 2021 offseason about Trent Jr.)?

Well I, for one, am shocked that Gary Trent Jr., who they didn’t talk up much in prior discussions about their core to the press, is potentially on the trading block this year.

  4. This is not surprising you just have to see how the fo overlooks gary when talking about the team. Either they dont think they can afford to keep him with the other players on the team coming to new contracts or they just dont want him. Either way its no surprise that other execs have picked up on this.
