I don't know if hand-wringing over how quiet MSG crowds can get when we're feeling anxious/restless/surly extends beyond Ranger fandom, but it's definitely a thing Ranger fans talk about and complain about (because that's what we do). HOWEVER… there is no place I have ever been that feels as joyful as MSG when a game turns in an instant like this and the whole place goes nuts. Absolutely electrifying and makes me miss the days when I could get to 10 or 15 games a year…if you're in the building for a big win like this, even in the middle of the regular season like this one, that energy carries you for the next day or two. Just hearing this sequence on the radio last night (Kenny Albert almost broke his microphone he got so loud) and now watching it this morning gives me chills. Awesome stuff.
