I wish the NHL would do this type of thing after every game. Watch the NFL, NBA…after the game all the players are giving hugs and shaking hands saying hello to each other, in the NFL they pray at mid field some of them lol. Guys trading jerseys and signing each others autographs…..Point is its all done with the fans in the stands and it shows the teams giving respect to the game win or lose……in the NHL its all about hating your opponent rather than respecting them……change this bit of culture and I think the game would grow exponentially. I would love to sit around the arena for 5-10 mins after a game and see both teams mixing it up on the ice doing their thing. I can do that when I see an NBA game and NFL game and its one of the best parts of the whole experience going to those games.
