Extended highlights of the Boston Bruins at the Carolina Hurricanes

  1. The Canucks watched this game closely as they are shopping Horvat. Their pitch should be ”where else could you find plug and play 27 year old centre with 31 goals and a 56% faceoff win rate at this time of year?"

  2. That's three losses in a row. Boston has genuine problem now. They can't beat good teams that they will face in the playoffs.
Loss to the Lightning, chasing them the whole game. Choked against the Panthers. You still can't generate any real offensive threat against the Hurricanes that bounced you out of the first round of playoffs in seven games last year. This is now an actual problem.
The Hurricanes are a bad matchup for the Bruins. Hurricanes are faster than the Bruins, more of an offensive threat and Jordan Staal eats them alive in the Center matchup position. Bruins went 0- 6 on the power play, that's a massive problem.
This is now where Bruins upper management have to make tough decisions prior to the trade deadline.

  3. Went to the game, man that was the sloppiest game the Bruins have had all year. Skating into each other left, right and center and couldn't keep the puck in the other zone to safe their life. Hopefully the All-Star break will get them back on track.

  4. Ok I have a take to mention. People are starting to say “the bruins are peaking too early.” To everyone who’s saying that, I feel like there’s some things you have to remember. Number one, we have some injuries that are plaguing us. Jake Debrusk is one of them, and he’s one of our best scorers. Boston’s biggest problem tonight in my opinion? Zone entry. DeBrusk is an incredible skater who excels in breaking into the zones and shooting the puck quickly. Say what you will about Tomas Nosek’s abysmal offensive capabilities but he is certainly good at playing defense as a two-way forward. Once we have them back, we’ll be back. Another thing I think people aren’t considering is the stakes of the situation. Boston is still first in the league by a mile, and it’s a 3-game losing streak in January. It’s not the end of the world. We have plenty of time to figure stuff out. We’ve just been having off nights and it’s not much to worry about for Bruins fans. People are jumping the gun iyam, i wouldn’t doubt eager to see us fail lol. Chin up, B’s fans. 🐻💛🖤

  5. Just watched the game. Couldn't stomach watching the "highlights". Bruins were obviously fatigued and played like Keystone Cops (look it up, junior). So, their embarrassing errors can be forgiven… but the league should not be forgiven. No professional contact sport should schedule games without adequate recovery time for the athletes. Not only does it put the players at risk for injury, but it also makes the games less meaningful (just another game among scores of games) and causes absurd exhibitions like this one, with one team only partially fit to play. But it's munny-munny-munny first, isn't it? … I'd like to see them play no more than every three days. One day recovery, second day practice, third day a good hard game. That would be more exciting and meaningful than the current hockey-mill schedule with players playing like B-leaguers because they are tired and have adapted to pace themselves in their overworked schedules. For comparison, how exciting and important would each NFL football game be if they were scheduled like NHL hockey games? …

  6. Odvolání brankáře za stavu 1:3 je největší hloupost na světě, kor když ten tým je po dvou hloupých porážkách. Je hloupé že "nejlepší" tým nedokáže vyhrát ani jeden ze tří zápasů… tak třeba příště

  7. 6:42 where the failure #DumpsterFire NHL refs missed a blatant interference penalty by 27 on the bruins basically ripping Aho's stick out of his hands with his own stick. SMDH. Shoulda been a Canes PP, not a Bruins goal. Fail harder refs.

  8. Great Win. Boston fans some of the worst in NHL. Can’t go to home game without them being obnoxious and cursing around kids. Be better Boston.
