  1. I appreciate as a leafs fan that Dubas and Shanny has a plan. Be bad and build through the draft. Better than the Canucks who have no plan whatsoever. That being said the plan has failed so let's try and do something different in the off-season. Maybe an improvement on defense rather than a bandaid fix?

  2. They needed this for sure, a little positive energy heading into break would cure a lot, I would think. Certainly makes me feel more confident.

  3. Best they've looked in a week. Tough loss against TB, twenty skating seconds that went from a win to loss against a .500ish team, and the next night, their tired asses were just plain beat. They looked TONS better tonight.

  4. What is even more important than this victory? That the Bruins have a broad base of potential scorers and lines. To say it with Keynes: "In the long run we are all tired at some point, even top scorers", as the Bruins fan from Germany knows very well 🙂

  5. Matthews was missed..but more concerning most or all of the bruins fowards looked bigger then torontos defense. They play softer then the Pillsbury dough man. Shanahan has to recognize this and fix it or They're not beating Tampa or Boston in the playoffs.

  6. Leafs fell apart in 3rd. Btw lame suckers like simmonds should have ditched a long time ago. idiot Keefe let malgin go and keeps a sh!t player like simmonds. What a dummy.

  7. Samsonov should’ve stopped the shot that would put the Bruins up 2-1, a goal that I thus classify as ugly. Yet subpar defence let him down bigly. What GM Dubas does during the All-Star Break is TBD but unless Matthews returns to the Leafs’ lineup for the first game following said break, the Leafs are likely to continue being in trouble unless Dubas starts remaking that bottom-six forward group (Jarnkrok the ONLY member of that group to put up a point).

  8. Bruins vs Maple Leafs is always a really entertaining match. Not only because of the bitter rivalry, but also because of the fact that both teams are really aggressive and competitive in play style and they’re really similar in skill level. You’ve (normally) got guys like Matthews, Tavares, Marner and Nylander matched up against guys like Pastrnak, Bergeron, Marchand, and Krejci. So much fun! Go B’s 🐻💛🖤
