  5. You people are fucking insane. It’s literally the same shit we’ve had forever. I’m not black or nothing but I want to see actual new uniforms if we get new uniforms. Not the same rehashed shit again with a minor tweak.

    These look great, I’m worried they are going to add black accents to the unis like they had in the stafford-johnson era, I thought they looked like expansion team unis. I love the current ones, and I’m really hoping they don’t change them much honestly

    Silver, blue and white pants. Blue and white jersey. All sorts of combinations.

    Then maybe a white helmet for some cocaine white color rushes.

  14. The thing is…if you want to sell more jersey, you need to offer something people don’t already have. We lions fans will take pretty much any thing they offer. But for the casual who watches 4 games a year…they will walk to the rack and say ‘I have one just like it at home’. The whole point is to create novelty. I think some of you guys are legacy fans and that’s ok. They got plenty of blue jersey for you out there. They are trying to reach a different market. You walk to the rack and say ‘I’ve never seen a lions jersey like this before, it’s new and doesn’t look like every thing else I already own’

    That being said, I also love the all whites for an alternate. As much as I liked the black jersey, it was a shitty time in our history. If we do another black jersey, I’d want it to be a radical redesign for a color rush. Maybe black with Honolulu Blue and and a metallic gray rather than flat gray

    Basically if they go black for anything, I hope it’s a whole revamp of using black in our color scheme and not just the old black jerseys

  18. I like black jerseys as a color rush or alternate jersey. I want the lions to truly be blue and silver for our normal jerseys not grey. OUR COLORS ARE BLUE AND SILVER NOT BLUE AND GREY DAMN IT

  34. Love it. Personally I’d like to see the helmets without a logo – I think it would make a clean look cleaner.

  39. The new Lion logo is 10x better than this old one, but this jersey is way better. Slap the new logo on it and its a top jersey in the NFL.

    Detroit has some pretty iconic jerseys. The old English D, the winged wheel, Teal pistons, etc. This could add to it.

  40. Black jerseys are horrible. I have been a Lions fan for 46 years and I have seen different variations. Detroit has two of the best uniforms in all of professional sports, both home and away. The Honolulu blue and silver, white and blue are both iconic. They just need the blue face masks and the clean numbers.

  41. I personally love Honolulu Blue. It’s a great fit for the city of Detroit, Michigan’s personality, and meshes well with other local teams like the Flint Tropics.
