I hate how Willie’s gone back to playing Larry 16-17 minutes straight to close games. He was doing that early in the season, and it resulted in Larry getting hurt and having to miss time. It’s just dumb rotation management, you can’t play an injury prone player that many minutes straight.

If we canāt win a single game in 3 weeks without zion then we were bound to get exposed in the playoffs anyway

Honestly Iām gonna get downvoted for this but i gotta say it, Brandon in the fourth was so much better and apart from early on he played really well, so did cj, Larry and naji, and to some extent JV (although I canāt excuse him being a cone but thatās his size more than anything) but, trey, Jose, Kira and herb (offensively) and willies coaching, were the reason we lost.
This team is screaming for a trade and at this point yeah go get og and a 4 who can shoot because this is the reason weāre losing, if we had any shred of 3pt shooting skill we would have won this with luka out
Also willie, run sets that benefit the players you have, if JV is on the court slow the offence to a more grinding set to allow him to actually be able to keep pace, I feel so sorry for JV when we run back on offence
Can somebody locate the Velvet Room/Oddity at play here! Is the Social Link that only gets half-completed and barely receives any attention? Did the Lost Snail finally book it from Arara-rararagi and come to New Orleans?
This is the NBA equivalent of that smart kid with ADHD. They have everything they need to succeed. They just have to figure out how to unlock it and output it consistently. (Which I guess makes Zion the Ritalin in this scenario.)

Also on a side note glad we saw no Devonte tonight. Kira wasnāt good offensively but him actually being able to dribble and drive and throw up some layups allowed for some easy rebounds/putbacks for Jonas. Something that Graham doesnāt do at all. Might as well have Kira out there if theyāre both gonna shoot like ass
Thinking about what trey is doing starting, it seems he definitely is a bench player at the moment, if we did somehow trade for og I would move trade to the bench then start og over him, so our starting group is much better defensively and og will take 3s
Then trey can come in and not have to worry about guarding starting players and can shoot because the spacing will be better
Maybe this is recency bias but this one hurt more than the other 9

Willie has to change his play calling. They are running the same play on offense and running the same coverage on defense. The team has been spamming them since last March and people have figured it out and they can just defend it the same way every time because Willie won’t run another play. This team never hunts mismatches and teams know they won’t do that so they switch everything and get away with putting forwards and guards on JV
