  1. That is a real shocker.

It is obvious that he and Taysom are both Sean’s per projects that everyone was not on board with. Just thank God he didn’t get the Taysom pet contract also.

  2. Feels like he hasn’t had a fair shot with us. He probably won’t ever be a star but he’s on of the most fun bridge QBs in the league

  3. We tried and he was welcomed with open arms. He is who he is. Perhaps it’s the number 2, but he reminds of Aaron Brooks. Enough flashes of promise to make you believe but enough bad passing to remind you that he isn’t the one. I really wish it would’ve worked out with Winston, but it didn’t.

  4. His problem in Tampa Bay was he believed he had to carry the offense as they had ZERO run game. Sean pretty much broke him of that shit and he had some real flashes. When Sean left and Alvin pretty much disappeared from the offense (either by play design, injury, or mental condition), Jameis was screwed. If he went back into gunslinger mode he was just as apt to lose the game for us as he was to put us in a position to win or he could play conservatively (as Sean had counseled him) and hope the offense around him would be enough. Obviously he took the latter path, it wasn’t working, and then he got hurt. Quite frankly the Saints should have tried to trade him as someone’s QB2 entering the season while he still had those flashes going for him. He may or may not get picked up by someone but I think he’s viewed as damaged goods that can only function in a traditional (pro-style) offense with a decent run game to protect him from himself.

  5. Dude fractured four vertebrae I mean like cmon one ended Romo’s career. He’s probably never really playing again.

  6. Damn shame, feel like his year to shine was last year with Sean holding his leash. I really think we was playoff bound if we had him that full season.
God speed jameis, eat them w’s

  7. As much as I would’ve loved to see him command an offense for a full season… this is a business and it’s time for both of us to move on. Wish him all the best tho
