Hayes has bulked up this off-season

  1. If Hayes stays healthy and the wrist is truly healed I genuinely think were looking at a .270/350/420 15HR 30+ doubles hitter with 5+ WAR with his elite defense!

  2. Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin’ huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

  3. Good to hear, but strength wasn’t his issue. His issue is launch angle and constantly sending hard hit balls straight into the ground. Hopefully he’s been working on that as well. Looks like he has from the video at least.

  4. Just a reminder that Jack Wilson’s career went over a cliff after he bulked up in the offseason when he was coming off his best year. Heavier and thicker is not always better where baseball players are concerned, and extra muscle doesn’t help Hayes’ wrist.

  5. Hopefully the offense improves, not to get ahead on this, but the lineup is very different if he is able to perform in the #3 spot. If you pencil in cruz/Reynolds/Hayes at the top, then you get to mix and match mccutchen, Choi, Santana, suwinski, joe, Castro and bae 4-8. Then when endy arrives…that makes the C spot a production line item as well.

  6. Boy, I sure hope so. If we can get “Richie Hebner numbers” (15 HR, 75-80 RBI, .270) in addition to his very slick fielding they’ll really have something for several years!
