Tonight’s episode of Smuglyfe™️ is brought to you by Jamal being back.
AG 100% on FT!
Nikola Jokic just got his 100th Career Triple-Double, 94 regular season, 6 in the playoffs.
41 wins before the Jamal star break
What happened to KCP?
Man, once upon a time there were people legit saying that Jamal should be benched and played with the second unit. The Blue Arrow is back people and at the most perfect time of the season when everyone else is firing on all cylinders
Jeff Green didn’t piss me off tonight so I had a great time
Remaining games before the all star break: at Wolves (2nd night of a back to back), vs Wolves, at Magic, at Hornets, at Heat, vs Mavs.
What are the chances we have the best record at the break?
Boston has: at Pistons, vs Sixers, vs Hornets, vs Grizz, at Bucks, vs Pistons(B2B)
Bucks have: at Blazers, at Lakers, at Clippers(B2B) vs Celtics, at Bulls —- Ouch
guys payton watson liked one of my tweets am i famous now

Bro the DNVR crew just gave a shot of rakija to a 16 year old 🤣🤣

From Wind:
Jamal Murray tonight: “It’s tough for Bones. It’s tough for him. No one wants to be in this position. I just ask to leave the kid alone. He’s doing his best. Me and him are cool. We don’t have no problems. I just try to keep him in good spirits and know that his time is coming.”
Jokic and Murray (again):

I’m just sayin but there are levels to dynamic duos in this league don’t see many duos out there rn where one drops a triple double and the other goes for 30+ (or 40+ like tonight)
I feel like I was pretty spot-on with my pre-draft evaluation of AJ Griffin tbh
Isnt benching Bones hurting his trade value? I won’t be surprised to see two second round picks sent back at this point..
So as my girlfriend and I were heading to the game I bet her that Jamal would score 40 because of the Bones drama. She bet me Jokic would get a TD (duh). We just took our shots downtown. Love this team! Go Nuggets!
With Kyrie most likely going to The Lakers I wanted to compare the last 5 postseason appearances between him & Jamal:
Kyrie: 22games 21/5/5 on 43/35/95 w/ a 12-13 record
Jamal: 33games 24/6/5 on 47/41/90 w/ a 16-17 record
Just puts into perspective how incredible Jamal is in during the playoffs. I’m also not worried about this potential Lakers matchup(don’t think they’ll even get in honestly) because I think the lakers would come in with a ton of false confidence and the first game the nuggets win will send all of them into a “well we have next year” mode.
Wonder if tomorrow is a load management game for us
were winning the chip idk what anyone says im consistently ready to go
I’m getting real sick of the Nuggets’ seed last season being used as a cudgel in whatever bullshit MVP argument.
Forget team record; Jokic won more games last season than Embiid, Giannis, and Luka.
He leads all three right now by at least 5 wins.
Find a real angle.
Kyrie is scum. Terrible human being and I cannot wait until he’s out of the league.
It’s rare for me to dislike a player with no (negative) connection to the Nuggets. But he’s easily my least favourite player in league. I actually hope he gets injured again before too long. I know that’s an awful thing to say. But I think in his case he deserves it and I don’t want to see him on a court again.
I like the nuggets
So we punting tomorrow?
Suns fans downvote you for stats in r/nba even when they bring up the player comparison you supply the stats for. Bunch o fuckers.
Was that Watson’s first nba basket? I can’t remember
How much longer until people start calling us a fake 1st seed because we’ve played a lot of teams with their stars out?
Jamal is so back and it feels so good man, I missed him
Mpj has been quiet.
While being quiet, he is putting up good volume stats on great effiency. He is playing his role and keeping his mouth shut, and we are winning left and right.
Maybe in his contract year he becomes a distraction, but he isn’t right now. And right now he is clearly bought in. He is hustling on defense more than he ever has, and he seems comfortable in his offensive role.
I know he wants more, he is talented enough to be a focal point.. but he has run to the corner and hit 3s at an absolutely elite rate, with zero complaints. HE. IS. BOUGHT. IN.
Nuggets Celtics finals gonna slap
u/Boneyardbill YEAAAAAAAAHHH!!
Just got off the phone with Tim Connelly, he’s trading Gobert for Bones. We got our new backup C
I’ve been very impressed with MPJ growth this year. Just like Jamal working his way back, I think some of that exists for MPJ. I can only imagine how having multiple back surguries can cause both physical and mental hurdles to overcome to stay on the court. Imo, he’s been a trooper this year.
Disclaimer before I start: I’m thinking too hard about this as always.
But I really gotta say, seeing the dumb casuals on twitter talking about how Jokic is an “efficiency merchant” and “he only takes layups/x shots a game” it’s just like… they are so clearly trying to have it both ways. They’re the same people who would say he’s unathletic and therefore cant be as good as Embiid or Giannis or whoever. If he’s so unathletic and he takes so few shots, how the hell does he get to the rim so often? How does he shoot over and around guys who are more athletic than him? God these people are idiots.
Anyway, that’s my pointless spiel against dumbass casuals.
Last 10 games, 3pt%
Jokic 47%, Jamal 41%, AG 43%, MPJ 43% , Brown 41%, Braun 44%
KCP 37%
