I know bringing back Jerami was mentioned in an earlier post but I thought this was interesting coming from JE3

3. Imagine if we got Duren and Wemby as a result of trading Jerami for one season and then we get to bring him back. We got Duren from the pick we received from Portland in the Jerami trade (I believe it was a Milwaukee future first which we traded to the Knicks to get Duren) and Wemby from us being so fucking bad this year without him. All we can do is hope.

11. I’ve always had this theory that he did leave just for a year with plans to come back. I could be wrong but I thought he was traded with his “okay” or at least that’s what I remember reading, and he never posted a goodbye insta post lol like he knew us wasn’t goodbye lol

12. Grant turned down the max extension the Blazers were allowed to offer, which was 125% of his current salary. I imagine they’ll offer him much more this summer.

13. JE3 from his trade primer 3.0 (2/5/23) – “A Pistons-Jerami Grant reunion this summer in free agency? Don’t count it out.”

14. I wonder if other players around the league are really buying into the pistons as a threat next year.
