  3. I mean, you aren’t going to hear it from someone closer to the situation outside of Burrow and his agent themselves. I’m sure Chase knows the inside deets to what his mindset is.

  4. I just have this weird hope that those 4 guys are all in agreement to just stick together. I doubt it but the hope is there.

  6. Music to my ears. While QB is undoubtedly by far the most important position, it’s still a team sport. You need a lot of top quality pieces around you to get that ring

  9. This is exactly what I expected from Burrow to get paid, but be reasonable in the request understanding how much it impacts the teams ability to bring in and retain the rest of the talent around him.

    I’d bet my appendix that he’d take a pay cut if it meant bringing in more Oline talent.

    Even with it being what was expected it’s still nice to know that this man truly is all about winning rings while he’s here and it’s crazy to say but I think it’s just a matter of when and not if we get a ring in the Nati.

    I’m here for it all.

  11. Obviously this has been our hope and dream all along, but for Ja’Marr to say it is kind of a big deal, in my opinion. Let’s hope this comes true and we can keep the band together 🤞🏽

    “Give me 20 million guaranteed every year. Set up some easy incentives I can reach and throw that money around to other teammates. We’re trying to win multiple superbowls here”

  17. If Joe is anything other than the highest paid QB at any point if his next contract we’re getting a bargain tbh.

    I also think Joe is smart and competetive enough to know that he’s gonna get paid regardless, and the financial difference between highest paid and 5th highest paid is much smaller than the sporting difference between winning a super bowl or not.

  20. Joe just seems like a guy who puts winning above all else, and he’s gonna do what it takes to keep the most valuable pieces around him to accomplish that. I am sure he will get paid, no doubt, but all that money means nothing if you’ve got no one to throw to or you’re getting sacked 5 times per game.

  27. Icing on the cake is that the Ravens and Lamar are reportedly $100M apart. Their hatred for us, our team and Joe is amusing and this will add fuel to the fire. I love that we’re in their heads and that they’re envious for so many reasons.
