The Panthers are recalling Grigori Denisenko from AHL Charlotte, per the NHL Media site. Denisenko played last night and scored the OT winner Friday for the Checkers. This season he has nine goals and 21 points in 37 AHL games and three assists in 12 games with the Panthers.

The goal for those who are curious. Deni has been a reliable source of offense and certainly deserves the opportunity.

A little to late in my opinion. Maurice has been so slow to adjust and the lack of offense coming from the bottom 6 has been concerning. He’s created an atmosphere without competition for roster spots. If only everybody at the bottom played with Lomberg’s intensity. Maurice, you are the weakest link.
