  1. He’s pretty washed and slow but worth a shot. All we need a couple solid moments from him in the playoffs

  2. Not sure how much of an impact he’ll actually make on the court but they’re probably signing him for his championship experience

  3. A little extra wing depth and a good locker room guy with championship experience? Sign me up

  4. Not a bad gamble. If he’s completely washed then it’s whatever but if he bounces back from his injury then he can be important to have in the playoffs with his experience.

  5. Awesome, all for this move. Talk about bringing in a great veteran presence and some good depth. Great move all around.

  6. The return.

In his last three years, he has shot 39.5% on 3s at 7.7 attempts per 36. If he can still play defense, I assume he takes a chuck of Cedi’s minutes. In all honestly, I didn’t watch his three games with the Grizzlies and I didn’t pay much attention to him last year so idk how he’ll be off his injury.

  7. Vert = Green
    LaVert = The Green
    Darius Garland = DG
    Danny Green = DG

    Coincidence? 👀

    Welcome home DG Strikes Back

  8. I was more interested in Stanley Johnson, but I think they are looking for a vet presence who has made deep runs in the playoffs more than they are anything else. More about coaching, bench convos, teaching, and contributing to culture.

I trust Altman without hesitation, hasn’t steered us wrong yet.

  9. Great move by Koby, he doesn’t have to play heavy minutes but can give us depth, experience and shooting at the wing position, what else can we ask for?

Remember some vet signings like James Jones, RJ, Frye and even Dahntay Jones, these type of players could make a play or two and make a difference in the playoffs.

  10. Honestly feel like this is the best environment for him to find his former groove as a role player too. LA seemed to have done a number on him mentally so hoping our culture helps him thrive

  11. There are some negative, salty mafuckas in this thread. Happy Reddit doesn’t make our roster decisions lol.

    Welcome back Danny!

  12. So many people are talking advanced stats and stuff about a guy who will probably have his biggest impact teaching a young team about big moments. Only Mitchell has had them at this level and they weren’t even really with anyone watching since his biggest series was the bubble Jazz/Nugs series which was outstanding.

It’s a great signing, even if he’s just playing a little D and being a mentor.

  13. I don’t think he realistically adds anything to the team but the fact that we are good enough to grab ring chasers off the buyout market… CAVS ARE BACK BABBBBBBBYYYYYYYY

  14. Even if he doesn’t play much I have to imagine a guy who was such a great team defender for so long will have a lot of insight to help our perimeter players on that end.

  15. It was tough to watch this guy starting on championship teams after we cut him. Welcome home, dude.

  16. Considering he’s a buyout guy, probably the best available realistic addition and if he’s still got some juice a potentially awesome addition

  17. I know he’s contributed to championship teams in the past, but will he realistically crack the rotation?

  18. Nice addition.

I think he can actually get a few minutes here and there too. Plug him in for 15 on Rubio off days.
