I wasn’t a Twins fan as a kid (lived in Braves territory) but Chuck was my favorite player just because I thought his name was the coolest
That Knoblauch Pog was no match for my AA battery slammer.
Chuck Knoblauch was one of my Twinkie heroes growing up. Still have an autographed card that I got by mailing one to the Twins’ offices and got it back a few weeks later. And then he replied to me once on Twitter a couple years ago, so childhood me kinda jumped for joy at that. I was disappointed that he ended up assaulting his wife, but hopefully those days are behind him.
