NEVER FORGET when Bumgarner came into game 7 Omar Infante was the first hitter and he singled. It was the first and only hit against mad bum until Gordon’s triple. #VoteOmar

  1. No offense but please die in a hot fire

I now see you’re praising Omar Infante which is respectable and only logical but the sheer terror of having to see Bumgarner shit on the chest of the entire Royals lineup has made you a mortal enemy

  2. I think I’m in the minority when it comes to 2014. Even though we lost, this series always gives me really great vibes. It was all so new and exciting. Not just this series. The entire postseason. It was amazing and I loved every single moment of it. Truly. Maybe I feel differently about it if Correa didn’t botch that chopper up the middle in 2015, but I’ll never not love 2014 and the vibe it brought to the city.

  3. Why would you post this? It was almost gone from my brain until this. Salvy quit swinging at that low and away trash. FUUUUUUUUCK

  4. At that moment, we were like three hits/SF gaffes from Bumgarner being pulled. It was desperation to put him in on that short rest after so much post season work. The hook would have been short.

So many thiiiiiiis close moments that game. Oh well… the sports years that followed for a KC fan have been satisfactory.

  5. I will forever die on the hill that bunting after this was a terrible decision. Bumgarner was shook from our crowd and couldn’t find the zone against Esky. With Esky up 2-0, this was the perfect time to strike. Giving Bum an out there did way more for him than us.

Ah well. We more than made up for it the following year.

  6. I’ve still got my bootleg 2015 infante allstar jersey and wear it to games occasionally but it has been many years since someone understood the joke 😂.
