  1. I would think LeVeon Bell would be still in the league – and at 31 nearing the record for most receiving yards by a RB if he had just kept his head on straight. Not the typical running back but a damn good one. I won’t forget his good years with the Steelers. Bell/AB/Ben was a special time in Pittsburgh and 0 rings to show for it is the most upsetting shit ever

  2. Dude was special. His ability to work the blocking to create holes and move defenders was incredible. He was the whole package.

  3. Almost forgot how special he was. The guy had a style all his own, and was amazing to watch.

  4. That line was special and so Ben/passing game. There is a reason the patience approach rarely works elsewhere. Waiting 3-4 seconds for line to open holes often backfires. Bell was talented and he was in a spot that catered perfectly to his tendencies. He couldn’t see the big picture…or maybe he did and he knew that aging Oline wasn’t sustaining that level of play much longer (they didn’t). His YPC and explosive plays began to dwindle even in his time in Pittsburgh.

  5. Those numbers would have doubled if he stayed in Pittsburgh.

Sat a year just to take a lesser deal with the Jets. 🤡

  6. Damn I loved watching him. One of my favorite players just bc of how unique he was. Idc what anyone says about him signing with the Jets or the year off.

  7. It is a shame we had almost no playoffs games where all three of the killer b’s were healthy.

Also, every Steeler fan should than bell for not signing the deal we offered him that would have paid him more money than he made otherwise. He was already in the wash cycle and we offered him a lot of money for the back he was.

  8. he was on his way to franchise records and a gold jacket, it’s a fucking shame the way he ended up

  9. Not to take anything away from Bell, but Jesus look at the size of those holes. That OL was just as special as he was

  10. Shame he let money get in the way when they offered him a decent contract. His running style was unique and meshed with his team mates for certain. It’s apparent because his running style didn’t translate with anyone else.

  11. He shouldn’t have asked for money and stayed in Pittsburgh. His career tanked after he left.

  12. Dude let greed get in the way of a HOF career. As soon as he got all that guaranteed money from the J-e-t-s, jets jets jets, he stopped caring.

Didn’t show up for OTAs, only showed up for half of training camp, and didn’t play a single snap in pre season.

  13. Very good RB that was insanely benefited from a dominant offensive line. The year he got that MCL, 30-something year old DeAngelo Williams stepped in without missing a beat.

  14. Fuck Reggie Nelson and Vontaze Burfict for ruining his knees. His first playoff game with Pittsburgh resulted in rewriting Franco’s single game mark and in his second he broke his own record. He probably would have gotten banged up at some point anyway, but those two shots were the main culprits.

  15. Honestly how Ben, Brown, and Bell never a won a SB together is diabolical, if only what could of been

  16. All that talent and completely washed, despite barely being in his 30s. Damn, being a RB is a rough life.

  17. Remember when everyone was all like “Steelers don’t pay their players and their use of the franchise tag is cheating a player out of their worth” and now like everyone’s like “they should tag Lamar” “they should tag Daniel jones.”

Worked out for the jets though. Paying him all that guaranteed money. And it worked out for bell too as he clings on to relevancy in his boxing… rapping… whatever he’s doing now. /s

  18. 68 ypg. Rushing. He had a ton of talent and was a nightmare on D lines, but 68 ypg. Had a stacked online as well his dominant years.

  19. i hated him and was angry for years. now im just sad about it. about what could have been

  20. Homie sold his legacy and soul to play for the jets ☠️when the Steelers offered him more money. Ab and bell both were missing a chromosome towards the end.

  21. He would have been a first ballot hall of famer if he stuck with us.

What happened with the Jets seemed to be exactly what everyone but Bell thought would happen with them.

  22. I’d like to take a moment to applaud the o-line from those years. Lev fucking sucked as soon as he played for anyone else

  23. He was a helluvah back while in Pittsburgh. Once he left Pittsburgh, he kinda lost that spark.

  24. LeVeon Bell was the NFL all time yards from scrimmage per game player… when he left Pittsburgh. Just above Jim Brown.
