1. If we’re going to lose anyways. It should have been in regulation. It was 4-2 with 2 minutes to go. Shit like this is so demoralizing. It reminds me of all those times where bullshit in the season fucks over our draft position. We need to do more to make the team worse for the year. Upsetting result. Especially since the Habs won and would have put a lot more distance between us.

4. An absolute world class tanking performance from Myers today, almost brought me to tears how beautiful it was. Thankful he’s on the team at this part of the year.

14. Kuzmenko is a legit star. One of the most creative and skilled players we’ve had. Definitely a core piece going forward

15. Myers was really giving it his all to make us lose with his Bambi impersonation but Garland and Kuzmenko did not want that regulation loss. Glad we only got the one point and not two though the game actually ended up being enjoyable with all the chaos and goals. Garland should be on PP1 more often.

16. Chicago also threw away a tank point with a final-minute game-tying goal.

17. We have one of the easiest schedules to close out the season and there’s zero chance we’re going to finish worse than Anaheim, Chicago, or Columbus. Might as well be happy with every milestone Petey and Kuzmenko achieve.

    We’ve got three must-lose games coming up against Arizona though, so hopefully Myers and Stillman get rested up, because we’re gonna need them to work overtime if we want a legit shot at the bottom five.

18. There’s been a lot of contenders, but that may be the worst game Tyler Myers has ever played for the Canucks. Him and Stillman make even the simplest of plays look like bomb defusion while landing a 747 via reading brail.

    Edit: Someone clipped it on twitter and it definitely looks like Garland passes it to Kuzmenko but it also looks like Beauv might have kicked it so that could be why it wasn’t given to Garland even though it touched his stick last.

Apathetic af going in, convinced we weren’t contending for the playoffs, so didn’t really care when we were choking consistently to start the year. But, then we were so trash that we have a legit shot at a top 4 pick and those crazy sons of bitches had me caring again. Aaaaand of course the one time they convert a Hail Mary comeback is when I’m actively rooting for us to lose. This teams got me so bass-ackwards confused.
