  1. The Tsai hate never made any sense to me (strictly as an owner). He came in and was immediately willing to drop a monumental bag on the big 3 with zero hesitation. People fawn over Lacob and the Warriors paying absurd luxury taxes, but Tsai was doing the same exact thing. We’ve been right behind them in highest team payroll for awhile now.

I still see Nets fans on Twitter call him cheap, and I’m legitimately dumbfounded every time I see it. Like yeah, he didn’t take back Kuzma that one time, but we were easily the favorites with the big 3 already, and Kuzma wasn’t nearly as good as he is now. The Warriors made a similar cost cutting move in not re-signing Gart Payton II this summer. It’s not uncommon even for the best owners.

  2. It was never about Tsai. KD asked for Marks’ head this past summer, but was in constant communication with the owner throughout the whole trade request ordeal

I wonder if we traded Kyrie to Lakers for AD would KD have stayed, but it seems like the Lakers were hesitant to give up both picks despite Tsai being reluctant to even deal with them in the first place

  3. I wonder if part of the deal will sending KD to PHX was that KD, Rich and Eddie Gonzalez had to speak positive about the Nets.

  4. The hating of Joe Tsai has always been overblown. Dude’s done whatever it took to try to bring a winner to Brooklyn, it didn’t work. can’t hate on that

  5. I’m very happy with this owner, there are roles and power structure within any organization. Nash wasn’t ready but I don’t put that on Tsai and the big 3 were a disaster but I’d try it again and make same moves he did. Seats are $$ I think I can blame him for that haha

  6. What else is Rich going to say about the owner that got KD to his preferred destination without vetting other offers?

  7. Harden went where he wanted
    Kd went where he wanted

Kyrie didn’t get that because he was a thorn every step of the way. It’s sad that the dude couldn’t recognize his actions.

  8. Tsai should have just signed Kyrie to what he wanted and traded him in the off season.

Marks never should have made the Harden for Simmons trade.

Marks especially should be fired, but Tsai is seemingly willing to keep him no matter what.

Signing Kyrie and trading him for a comparable star player is what the Nets should have done.

  9. It was Kyrie’s fault, always was Kyrie’s fault and always will be Kyrie’s fault.

They tried to appease a lunatic and got burned. Learn from this for next time!

  10. People really eating this up because Tsai didnt listen to any offers besides Suns at his clients wish
