  1. This is the third straight offseason he’s pulled something like this so I wouldn’t be shocked

  2. What about the other 50000 reports about the packers org done with rodgers and wanting to move on to Love?

It’s all just speculation at this point imo, no one knows what is going to happen.

  3. I have a source that states Aaron Rodgers might or might not play next year and could possibly also retire or ask for a trade.

  4. I think Schefter said this was the least likely outcome but then again Rodgers did say the NFL insiders don’t know shit. Anything is on the table.

I do wonder what Green Bay has to say in all of this? Love has said he wants to be traded if he’s not the starter. Can the Packers move on while ignoring what Rodgers wants? Would they? If not, do we pivot to Love?

  5. Plot twist: Jets QB is going to range from Carr to Love to Jones.

No one knows anything, and Rodgers holds the cards in the game of Quarterback musical chairs. His decision weighs heavily on what moves anyone makes.

I think this is why JD is focusing on Carr. You can’t wine and dine someone and say “alrighty, you’re our second choice if Rodgers falls through”.

I think the Jets already know what’s up.

  6. AR publicly said he’d re-work the contract if gets traded. ESPN doesn’t know shit and I choose not to watch or listen to them. Makes me sick.

  7. This would really be everybody caring more about a farewell tour than

    1. Better positioning your franchise

    2. Getting a real chance at one last title

  8. Ah yes well respected reporter i literally already forgot his name while i was typing this comment

    Oh yeah Jeff darlington

  9. If Rodgers wants to win another Superbowl, he needs to leave the Packers. I’m not saying the Jets will win one with him, but I have to believe NY’s Superbowl window is more open than Green Bay’s.

  10. Good – just sign Carr and get it over with. I honestly don’t even want Rodgers’ antics around this team.

  11. So if there’s a hint if his return to GB, im now fully onto Carr at the risk of missing out.

  12. I don’t think Derek carr wants to sign yet anyway. He probably wants to meet with another team or two before making any decision. If no word on Rodgers by the weekend I think they go ahead and make the offer to Carr. If all he cares about is winning, I don’t know of another team that offers the best chance of that. Maybe Washington but that ownership situation is fucked.
