  1. Good for him. Maybe he can run the bases without getting hurt. Otherwise I don’t care if my DH is fat. Which is the only spot he should be in going forward

  2. Hoping if he plays the OF he’ll show some hustle this season. I was constantly aggravated last season when the ball would drop 5 feet in front of him bc he would lightly jog towards the fly ball.

  3. The thing with him is, he’s never been slow. He can actually sprint to first pretty quick. Problem is the guy falls apart stepping on a base

  4. Queue the “best shape of my life” trope before he breaks a leg or something else stupid this year.

  5. Eloy has very easy natural power. Even before he fully bulked up, he was slugging a ton in the minors. I’m glad he isn’t heading towards or relying on that ‘hefty slugger’ archetype, he can clear the walls without the extra weight.
