I was today years old when I realized that the Brewers glove logo is literally the initials MB.

Wonder what it stands for…
If you look closely, you can also see a baseball glove.
I am not a Brewers fan, but I will concede that this is the best logo in all of sports.
I was in 8th grade and had the sticker inside my locker door from a pack of bb cards. Some classmate walked by and said “look, it’s M, B. Cool, right?” I said …. i know….

I didn’t know. This happpened over 20 years ago. LOL.

Also, an aunt got me a Hartford Whalers sweat jacket and didn’t know who they were but wore it anyway. My ranger fan friends came up and said “Eww, you like the whalers?” I looked down at the emblem and back at them and said That’s Right!! Loved the logo still to this day. That too, was over 20 years ago (whalers still around).

And how many years old when you realized the MLB logo has a baseball player in it?
I’d been following mlb for almost 50 years before I too was made aware of that.
It’s an awesome logo.
Definitely one of the coolest logos, up there with the Atlanta Hawks pac man
I uses to think this logo was pretty lame, but the second I realized it forms an MB it shot up several letter grades. Now I love it. The Brewers aesthetic overall I find very charming
Yeah, i was like 38. Blew my mind. I grew up with that logo and had about 10 items of clothing and 3 hats from age 2. I guess i never thought to look any further than just a mitt.
Honestly it’s one of the more clever logos in the MLB.

I literally recall the day that happened to me as well . A friend who knew nothing of baseball say across from me wearing the hat and said what a great logo. I was astonished . Like a 35 year magic eye finally was solved .

Ps take a closer look at the Whalers jersey too in case you haven’t figured that one out yet . My 10 year old son pointed that out to me like two months ago
My friend taught me this last year…apparently it was a local school art contest too

It’s a rite of passage for all Milwaukeeans. We all remember how old and exactly where we were when we had this realization. It was fourth grade, April 23, 1989 for me. Welcome to milwaukee my dude!

A lot of people like this logo, but does anyone else take issue that it has absolutely nothing to do with brewing beer… which is literally the namesake for the team? Do they even use the wheat/barley logo on the arm sleeves anymore?
