  11. 3v3 is fucking disgusting, one team holds the puck for most of it and its a shitty way to decide a game.

  15. This team. Highest of highs on that 6 game win streak. Lowest of lows on this losing streak. Like seriously, how have we regressed so hard on our d-zone turnovers.

  19. I would like to sincerely apologize for trying to share the game of hockey with my father, every single game I’ve watched with him we’ve lost. I’m making him watch the other team’s broadcast on his own next game.

  22. JFC, that was a clinic put on by SEA in OT. We were sloppy swimming and forced a change. Bright side: got a point, but damn.

  29. Honestly feel like another 10-12 shots in regulation would have gotten it done. 22 SOG is sad. They seem to suffer from looking-for-the-perfect-pass-itis

  31. At this point I dont care, avs just don’t have it this year. Too many fucking injuries. Happy with a first round exit. This is garbage guys.

  34. Well considering the number of breakaways we gave up, a point is better than nothing see y’all on Tuesday.

  35. Shitty play by Mack late in the game and a lackluster effort in OT ruined what was a good game by the Avs up to that point. Oh well.

  36. This team is so much better when they’re the aggressors. We’re passing up too many shots. At least force the D and the goalie to defend something. This team values possessions but there’s also value in wearing down opposing goaltenders. In this recent stretch, we haven’t put enough pressure on opposing defenses.

  39. That was an absolutely disgraceful ending. I really hope it lights a fire in MacKinnon’s belly knowing that he cost us this game.

    Also, the NHL needs to do something about how OT works. It is not fun to watch a single team posses the puck, skate around in circles for 2-3 minutes, take a single shot, and win the game. I know part of that is on the Avs, but way too much of OT comes down to who wins the opening face off. I honestly would prefer no OT at all and just go straight to a shoot out.

  40. I see a lot of people blaming bad D line stuff, which exists, but I’ve seen A LOT of sloppy passes in the O zone as well, that usually leads to break aways. We went to the Devils game and the amount of uncoordinated offense play was disgusting, it looked like amateur hour at the rec center. I wonder if, when we only had a handful of guys and were winning games it was because of being honed from being on the ice for 30% of the game. I dunno what the reasons are, but this play looks like a night and day difference than a month ago when our “stars” weren’t playing.

  42. Hadn’t seen an Avs game in person since we lost to the flames. Drove up and had some sick seats looking over the Avs tunnel and we lose. I feel like bad luck. Georgie did a superb job though. I felt bad watching Kincaid just sitting there on the bench. Dude looked like he felt like he was missing out.
