  1. * DeBrincat was welcomed back to the UC.
    * The first SoG by either team game 6:23 into the game.
    * Kurashev grabbed a loose puck in the neutral zone. On the ensuing rush, he dragged and scored.
    * S. Jones scored twice, both assisted by Bjork. Jones has 4 goals in his last 3 games.
    * Dickinson scored from the slot off a pass from Bjork.
    * Reichel scored with a backhand on a breakaway.
    * Stalock earned a 35-save shutout.
    * Tank report:
    * The Hawks have the 2nd-worst .389 points % (49 points in 63 games). The Blue Jackets have the league-worst with .365 (46 points in 63 games).

  4. I know it’s pretty easy to get into Tkachuk’s head but Stalock was awesome in all facets tonight. Took one of the hottest teams in the league and just pantsed them.

  8. Shocking how bad the Senators looked at even strength. If the Hawks are gonna win you want it to be a smack down like this.

    Bjork looked really good. People forget he was a decent player for the USNTDP. Hasn’t shown much in the NHL in Boston and Buffalo but would be fun if he nails this audition the rest of the season and becomes a depth player moving forward.

    Slick and speedy goal by Reichel as well, feel like we’ll be seeing a lot more of that sooner than later.

  13. Brought mom to her first game this season…we got upgraded to suite tickets and she got to see a shutout. Dad might be getting the boot as the primary seat partner if this trend continues.
