The ND-Chargers pipeline remains strong
I like Mayer, but I think he’s maximized at what he is. His athletic profile suggests he doesn’t really have a ton of room to develop as a player. He’s got a high floor, is a decent blocker, has reliable hands, and runs ok routes. I think he’ll be a consistent contributor for like 300-400 yards a year and a few TDs. If we go TE, I definitely would look at Darnell Washington or Kinkaid, provided they’re on the board.
