I don’t really expect him to be a significant contributor. If he ends up giving us some decent minutes then that would be cool. Hopefully he can make it in the NBA.
Not a good shooter from what I’ve seen. His impact will likely be on the boards and switching with KP-Gaff-Deni freeing up those guys to exploit matchups. However, he’s a filthy inside scorer and hyper athletic with length. I foresee him getting valuable minutes vs. bigger teams.
Also probably acquired for long-term continuity for cheap at that position, solidifying our wings between Kuz, Deni, Kispert, and Cooks, all of which have different skill sets.
