  1. 2 things:

    1) it was offside and the more I read about it the more I’m certain it was offside

    2) Gus Bus numbers are getting close to Ullmark’s and the “low games played” argument is getting weaker and weaker. At this point we’re not talking about getting a couple Vezina votes here and there, we’re talking about a surefire finalist and legit contender to the title, the argument in his favour being that we have a weaker offense than Boston so our goalie needs to be on top of his game under constant pressure to steal games.

  2. I’m about to say something I think the majority of you will hate, but…

    * I don’t think Klingberg actually played _that bad_ last night.

    Sure, ton of turnovers, didn’t score, didn’t really do much. But whenever he touched the puck, that puck was going towards the net, or going towards one of our guys in position to make a play on the net.

    If he tightens up his play and finds a good rhythm with the team, he might be a decent opportunity playmaker, which is something we need.

    In two games he’s +3, which I would say is an okay showing. At least he’s not giving up a ton of goals, and hopefully won’t.

    Also, fucking pumped for state boys hockey tournament starting today at 11am. _Hockey ALL DAY._

    Edit: We had 41 shots last night. Not going to take anything away from Calgary, but goddamn – if you get 40+ shots _per game_, you are going to score goals. Markstrom was fucking epic in goal last night.

  3. Off topic but all I have to say is Tony DeAngelo should not be in hockey. His past “discretions” are disturbing enough. But to use your stick to jab another mans package is disgusting. Hope he is given a long suspension.
