  1. Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy displayed the most giant set of balls throughout this whole situation. It was very impressive.

If only Murphy and Co. showed a little bit of that fortitude this time around.

  2. I find the Favre drama more annoying than the Rodgers Drama. Favre filed retirement paperwork in March of 2008…then said he wanted to come back in July of 2008. That’s a completely different situation. The team began operating as if he retired. He technically was for 5 months. While it’s annoying Rodgers hasn’t made a decision, at least he hasn’t pulled a “I’ve changed my mind” fiasco.

  3. Ehhh I don’t think McCarthy ever ruled tbh. I think he thought he was a genius but really just was lucky that he had such an insane collection of talented offensive players (think famous SI cover) and THAT — not his scheme was the main reason for their success

  4. I’m gonna need to look at the pad level first before getting on that train.

  5. Wait so you’re saying a story told by McCarthy paints McCarthy in a favorable light? Wow.

  6. I’ve always loved pissed off Mike audio clips. This and the “we’re nobody’s underdog” are so fierce to listen to from a guy who’s usually a chill teddy bear.
