  1. Well it looks like Keenan is staying put. Now we just gotta cut Feiler to get back into the positives. Then any restructures over that will be spending money.

  2. This is good news for 23, but we’re gonna lose one (or both) in 24 with 30M+ cap hits each

  3. Jeez there’s going to be some really tough decisions made next off season or the cap is going to have to increase substantially. Two WRs in their 30s with a combined 65M hit next year is very expensive.

I think we take an EDGE r1 this year and will move on from atleast Mack and Bosa (if he’s not restructured this year) next year.

Next moves are probably: restructure Bosa, cut Hopkins and Feiler. Extend Vato and maybe Ekeler. SJD is also a candidate for restructuring as his increase next year wouldn’t be huge. Everett could also get cut but I’d guess they wait until after the draft

  4. Last Dance. Both will be getting cut in 2024.

By cutting both, Chargers save 45mil in cap space but take on 23mil in dead cap.

  5. If we do that with make and bosa we can mabey resign drue tranquill or keep van not or Callahan as a veteran presence

  6. Popper is gonna be bummed, he was really banging the “cut Keenan” drum hard

  7. I think the writing is on the wall with this now.

Allen is definitely getting cut next offseason, and both Mack and Bosa will likely be let go after their contracts are up.

I think edge just shot up to the top of the draft board

  8. Let’s focus on this year not worry about what’s going to happen next off-season. This means we will probably have some money for a few upgrades in FA hopefully

  9. I’m glad he’s not going anywhere but the restructure, as it stands now, ensures he won’t be on the team past this season (34 million for next season). So enjoy KA while he’s here!

  10. everyone saying they’re getting cut next year??? like if we we were going to cut them we’d do it now, not next year when the guarantees are much larger. they’re here to stay and y’all just like drama

  11. Yikes man they chose the 2 worst contracts to restructure. This is just gonna continue to be a problem until they eventually cut them.

  12. These guys are Team First and seriously Thank You for willing to restructure some. Hoping we can restructure some more players and cut specific players and resign/keep the players that deserves to stay. Nervous to see the deadline moves… This is big time first step.

  13. Cap hit next year for both is nasty. Probably the last year we see them on the same field, but I hope there’s success

  14. So many of y’all can’t have good things. First, many of y’all were saying keenan was getting cut, now you’re saying what about 2024. I get it, you’re not used to winning, but give it a break. Be positive, this team is making positive moves

  15. I think the Tweet is misleading since they didn’t actually create any cap space. They’re just a step closer to being cap compliant. Still over though.

  16. Something people are not factoring into 2024 is that the cap space is going from 224.8 million in 2023 to 256 million for 2024. I see Herb taking a deal which really helps the team with the current cap. Herb loves the chargers. Doesn’t mean he will come cheap but he will come on a team friendly deal.

  17. Clowns actually thought Keenan was gonna be gone…. Please leave the fandom with fail takes like that.

  18. Joey Bosa needs to be traded or have his contract restructured. He’s the biggest waste of cap that cost us a playoff game he’s a joke
