Start of an era
I’ll be interested to see how he adjusts. His Wisconsin team was pretty bad this year but he was their best defenseman and he has all the tools we want. Fingers crossed we develop him correctly.
Let’s hope for no more concussions please. Stay healthy
Didn’t progress much in college this year but Wisconsin as a whole seemed to take a step back. He was the team’s leading scorer the previous year and kept about the same production as some of the forwards leapt over him.
He does some Makar-esque stuff at the blue line but doesn’t have the explosiveness. He’ll either need to level up his skating/strength or learn different ways to create from the blue line. He’s got tools, let’s hope we can develop this guy into a solid player!
