  1. just a play that really stuck out i wanted to bring back. its plays like this that lose you games that go completely unnoticed by any sort of stat. ant badly needs to learn to stay locked in off the ball. i dont know how they get that through to him

  2. We gotta start getting Ant to guard the ball handler in the clutch or sumn cause he just constantly falls asleep on any time of movement from the shooter he’s marking. Love him but it’s actually detrimental how easy he loses focus off ball in the clutch

  3. Our over-helping and leaving shooters wide open has been a frustrating thing all season.

  4. Yeah that basically happened multiple times during the game where they would come down to help and leave their man wide open for 3

  5. If gobert could step up and just try and guard a perimeter player instead of trying to hide like a bitch this wouldnt happen so often. Its why the defense was alot better towards the end of last year

  6. I like that everyone on this team feels comfortable calling out anyone else for their mistakes. This was a bad play, and Ant can take the criticism.

  10. And if he doesn’t help Gobert gives up another easy Dinwiddie layup. Not really sure this is holding Ant accountable either unless they had a constructive conversation after.

  11. Dinwiddie went a decent 11 for 24, and Gobert clamped down on him forcing a kickout on at least 4 separate possessions. The apologetics for a 21 year old Anthony Edwards are getting out of hand. It’s okay to admit that he makes mistakes. He can improve in certain areas. That’s okay.

  13. Get ready for even more when KAT gets back. Over helping out of the corner was his speciality earlier this year

  14. I get that he’s had to carry a ton of offense, but his decision making late in those last second shots was goddamn awful. Not to mention his terrible perimeter defense on the shot that got us to OT. Very frustrating loss

  15. Someone best put that Allstar head in his place soon. Lots to learn yet and he isn’t saving them all himself.

  16. Edwards has never played with a true center before in any level of the game.

  18. Was at the game and Ants decision making on defense was abysmal down the stretch. Casuals will point to the two unbelievable blocks and miss the constant rotation issues. Winning teams don’t make those mistakes, and talent alone doesn’t win championships or even playoff series. I hope we clean this up, but I fear it’s a little late for this season. Overall, I think these are growing pains and having seasoned defensive vets around will only help us in the future.

  19. Later, I think in OT, SloMo chewed out Gobert for doing the same thing when he was guarding a guy hanging out in the corner who made the shot too. Appreciate the accountability.
