  1. COOOOOTTTTSSSSSS! Don’t you dare play him a single game this season. COOOOOOTTTTTTSSSSS!

  2. Why risk it? Our medical/development staff is one of the worst in the league in terms of letting dudes back on the ice who aren’t ready. The dude has fucking *back* problems. This isn’t like a broken arm or whatever. His career could be over if they roll the dice too soon on this. Just tell him to keep training until 23-24 season or something.

    But whatever.

  3. Glad to hear. I’m really rooting for him to come back & still be Coots. And I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY am going to assassinate someone if he just gets injured again this season

  4. I don’t think this team is THIS stupid to play him this season so I think we are okay

  5. Not sure about this strategy about putting him in the ice but hey let’s see if it works.

  6. He’s been out to long that it might not be a bad thing if he can suit up for a couple games, assuming he’s fully recovered. I doubt he’d be good enough to affect a tank.

  7. Fuck, they burried him already? Sounds kinda cruel for his former mates to practice on that ice.

  8. If Coots wants to and is healthy and cleared to play, I don’t get why people want the organization to withhold that from him. It’s obviously really important to him personally, driving him “out of his mind”, and has probably been a huge weight on his mind all year. As long as he’s cleared and wants it, give him 10 minutes the last game or two. It sounds like it would be huge benefit for him mentally to clear that hurdle and get his return out of the way going into the off-season. We’re likely to be between 5-8 in the lotto, Coots playing is not going to impact that.

  9. I understand Coots’ feelings and I love his energy, but that’s the only jersey I wanna see on him the rest of this season lol

  10. So glad he’s back with the team. Hope he doesn’t push it to hard and heals up good for next year. I can imagine having him around will be a welcome boost for the team through the final stretch.

  11. This actually tracks. Coots’s original timetable from his 2nd surgery was 3-4 months and that was in October. His long-term health takes primacy but if he’s cleared and 100% getting him on the ice for a couple games at season’s end could boost morale in what must be a miserable locker room.

  12. As bad as this season has been it’s nice to see our boy again. Rest up #14. We’ll need you to man this ship next year

  13. I truly don’t see the point of him coming back when we have 16 games left and are pushing a potential 4th or 5th draft spot right now. He’s been out for two years and now the team is pushing a rebuild, I find it also hard to believe he doesn’t get injured again the rest of his career.

  14. I mean what’s he gonna for this team right now. Wipe a little grime off?.?.? Get healthy my dude. Come back with a case of tastykakes and some Danny B.

  15. Please don’t let him play this year, come back next year 100% and ready to roll in training camp
