  1. Kind of surprised by this one as well. I was hoping g to get him back in a team friendly deal. RB in the draft is a need now for sure.

  2. Damn wish we could of brought him back. He out performed and ran better than even Mixon at times

  3. Damn, guess we’re keeping Mixon despite his baggage so far this offseason. 2 years $7.5 Million is something we should have been able to easily match. We entered FA with the 5th most cap space, and we’ve only used it to re-sign Pratt. Was hoping we’d make some more moves by now.

  4. This sucks for a number of reasons.
Mixon has more leverage and won’t restructure.
Perine went for cheap and could have been our starter. That would be more money for an OT to replace Collins who will be out most of or all year. Our line right now isn’t as good as last year when is was bad most games.

  5. The draft is deep at rb. Hopefully, the bengals can draft a couple of backs. It’s been 20 years since we had a gamebreaker at rb. Mike Brown loves his power backs but that doesn’t fit the offensive scheme anymore.

  6. I am soo soo sad & mad. This is a player we should.not.have.let.go!! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

  7. I’m going to remain optimistic. As much as I don’t want to. I will trust the new process. Prowl on my dudes.

  8. Well now we need a rb that can block. Kinda gives me the feeling that we’re going to keep Mixon now. If they don’t restructure his contract I will be very disappointed in them. Hopefully Bijan drops to us!

  9. Damn. Perine was our only running back with the ability to plow through. Dear God I can’t take another year of Mixon up the middle. It damn near game me a stroke.

  10. Damnit, I was honestly on Team Cut Mixon and Start Samaje, even though Mix is pretty much my favorite player. This is what I get for being contradictory. Well, Mix, go run for 1500 next year!

  11. It’s so early in the off-season process. If you have followed the Bengals off seasons over the years, you know they could take any direction. But in the last few years especially, I’ve learned to trust the process. Judge in September, not March.

  12. I’ll miss him but anyone acting like Samaje Perine was irreplaceable is just being a doomer

  13. Does the FO think it’s rebuilding year or are they really going to pay Mixon that much to fall down due to wind gusts again?

  14. This honestly makes me more sad than Vonn especially when you see the numbers Denver poached him for. Don’t really see the vision on this one

  15. I love Perine. May still get his jersey. But, I gotta be honest, his production was replaceable. His attitude? Not so much. We’ll see how it works out. I still love what he did here. Best of luck to that beast of a man!

  16. This saddens me, of our 2 main rbs I’d have rather lost Mixon and kept Perine.
