  1. I’d be honest, price seems cheap, but I wasn’t that big on him. Had good games, but he did end the season with a back injury and the fact it is two years suggest it could be a issue in the future.

  2. It is very possible we tried to match or offer a little more and he chose to sign with them

  3. If we didn’t pick that up it must mean the new regime doesn’t want him or he wanted out. Hope Monti can draft…

  4. You have to be kidding. That is an absolutely reasonable contract and they can’t offer that? It’s not like the guy is washed and old. He’s a fairly young guy not yet in his prime, just the type of player you want on your team going forward

  5. Wack ass franchise. We definitely are not winning more than 5 games if we are lucky 😂😭

  6. we are poverty my god. some of the only great draft picks by keim and we let them both walk!!

  7. They let our best cornerback go and get a cheap deal while we have a bunch of cap space. What’s the point in finally drafting a good player if you are just gonna let him go for nothing? Fucking dumbasses. This team is so shit.

  8. I was assuming we 100% kept allen and murphy and I still thought this season would be very hard to watch. i’m sure all cardinals fans who’ve watched this whole decade are aware of just how hard it is to find one good corner, let alone 2. I truly don’t know what we’re gonna do.

  9. Okayyy

Monti Lossenfort has been straight ass so far.

I was fine losing Byron at $16M a year but $11M is pretty reasonable 💀

  10. Idk if we suck more at drafting or retaining the players that are actually decent lmao

  11. Man, this sucks.

Seeing Allen, who was getting better every year and making good return as a 3rd round pick, leave right as he was starting to come into his own, and seeing Murphy, a hometown kid and solid corner, leave the very next day…

I get that there’s gonna be some shakeups when switching regimes, but dammit all we finally drafted players worth giving second contracts to…only to see them go to other teams. Hopefully it’s for the better part of a bigger plan of future success, but hard to feel good about any of this in the moment.

And I don’t know why, but part of me is mad at Kyler. Because despite Keim and Kliff having their part in this, Kyler had better prove that it was his coach and GM holding him back and not the other way around in the end. We’re blowing this whole team up to give him a chance and he had better freaking not make us regret it…
