  1. Glad it’s only one year. Looks like the players and Howie are all on the same page. Let’s get back to the bowl.

  2. Hmm still seems a bit high. But we have our starting D line back. Happy, Hargrave is a big loss but Davis stepping up and Williams makes me confident. Need a young D lineman badly though and a corner.

  3. I feel like I’m stuck in a time loop with these Cox/Kelce 1 year deals. Cool to see him back tho, I guess 😂

  4. Obviously got love for Fletch but idk about this one chief. DT was razor thin at the present so don’t mind him being back at all but double digit Ms?

  5. Absolutely massive. I’m assuming he saw BG and figured he wanted to keep playing next to him. This is amazing news

  6. It’s an overpay tbh but I hope this doesn’t affect our ability to re-sign CJGJ (as in, we made this decision knowing beforehand that we can/cannot bring back CJGJ)

He isn’t who he once was, but the depth is always great with Hargrave done

  7. Damn didn’t expect this much hate. I understand it’s high but I’m happy af he’s back.

  8. Let’s go dude. I don’t care what anyone says, he’s not completely washed and we needed him back. Time to run it back with BG one more time.

  9. If we don’t sign CJ because of a few million this is going to look like a really bad move

  10. Fans bitch we let Reggie, dawk, Jenkins walk and then bitch when we keep veteran core players still playing at a high level.

  11. People in here talking about it isn’t a discount as if they are GMs.. Yall don’t know what he was offered

  12. I think one thing that might get overlooked as part of the Eagles draft philosophy, especially when trying to compete, is going into the draft and needing a Day One starter at a position of value.

Unless they’re in a building year, they typically draft players who are expected to get heavier roles in Year 2.

I just don’t think they wanted to go into the draft being that desperate for a starting DT.

  13. The price is below market value for DTs but we should have let him walk. One of Davis or Williams has to be better at this point. Cox is washed up

  14. I honestly wasn’t sure if we could make another run at a Super Bowl this year but if we hit our draft picks and Jalen continues to amaze, we should have a good shot

  15. Only signing I didn’t like. His play has declined significantly since he hit 30.

  16. Guys, the D line market is the biggest one this off-season, that’s a discount. We are returning the majority of our D line and we can now expect to go all out on secondary in the first round. Unless Jalen Carter drops I expect all CBs.

  17. This seems like way too much, but I will also wait to hear the guarantees before getting sad in the club

  18. Am I the only one that thinks that’s a lot of money for a part time DT? I was thinking more along the lines of BG.

  19. Way too much I’m sorry, I love Fletch but 10M for him at this point is wayyy too much…..

Yes we need DT depth and yes the market is crazy, but Fletch has not been great last two seasons. He had good sack numbers last year, but overall he was not great and even the sacks could’ve been a product of our insane DL (and corner duo shutting down reads and buying time).

  20. His dead cap would have been bad enough.
I’ll be curious what this 1yr deal looks like with his dead cap included..

  21. Both 91 AND 55 took discounts to stay with this team. I can’t believe it! I’m so happy. Let’s get back and WIN THIS THING!!!

  22. Me then: Not gonna be too upset about losing Fletch, he’s looking pretty washed.

    Me now: sike.

  23. I do not understand the outrage over a 1 year deal. Dude is gone when we pay Jalen. I’m glad it’s Howie in the office and not the collection of casuals
