  1. 31 other teams and this man chose the BENGALS. Happy to see him get paid though.

  2. I’m honestly perplexed that we signed someone to an even bigger contract who is more of an unknown. I wouldn’t have minded keeping OBJ for that price.

  3. he turned down more money from us and ended up having to settle for 16M apy.

    lofuckingl

  4. Last year he turned down six-year, $139 million deal ($23.16M avg) that included a $30.25 million signing bonus and $95 million in first five years.

Kinda seems like he made the wrong choice there.

  5. No chip blocking here to help you out Orlando… enjoy Chris Jones down your throat!!!

  6. Bruh ain’t no way he took 7 mil less than we offered him last year lmao thank god he didn’t take our contract

  7. He took a risk not signing our 6yr deal and lost the bet

Nice fit for him though. They really need consistency

  8. – OBJ cost himself a staggering amount of money by not resigning with us last year. That was a bad bet.

    – So far, Juwaan Taylor’s contract looks like a huge outlier in an otherwise muted free agency market. I hope they know what they’re doing.

    – Juju, Thornhill, and OBJ all signed very reasonable contracts today that we could have afforded to match. Guess we just didn’t want them around anymore.

  9. Not a huge fan of Orlando but I wish him the best. Still hope we can speed rush his side and take Burrow down easily xD

  10. Brown turned down 5 for 100 two weeks ago from us. What a moron. We dodged a bullet then. Brown was convinced he would find a huge deal like that in FA. Greedy MF. Taylor will play well at LT if that’s the plan, better than Brown in pass pro for sure. Dog shit money for Brown after year 2. We were offering more guaranteed but not as front loaded. Bad fit for Cincy. That division has some dogs in Watt and Garrett. Difference is… Andy ain’t coaching him to make him look better. Cincy still gotta pay Burrow at some point and Chase/Higgins next year. Just lost both starting safeties. Cincy gonna take a step back I think, esp on D.

  11. Bad gamble for OBJ. Compared to what our offers were. Overall still good for us, Taylor will fit much better especially if he progresses. For bengals, got him at solid value but might end up getting burrow killer out there

  12. Initial thought is OOF that could not be the market value he was expecting.

Crazy that him turning down that contract last year and winning a ring netted him less money lol.

It is a fair value deal for the bengals, which I hate typing out. This for sure puts the pressure on the Taylor deal even more at this point. Truthfully, I thought Brown would sign for like $21-22 per year and I would shrug it off as a saving, but this is wild he went for so much less.

Just really overplayed his hand when we would’ve probably given him the same deal we gave Taylor. Whatever, life goes on.

  13. Best decision for the Chiefs. He’s not worth that contract. We knew it and a lot of teams knew it. Bengals fans are probably pumped and they did improve their line but not in the way they think.

  14. I have a simple rule; if you help my team win a chip I’ve got nothing but love. I know this sub is pretty down on him, but at the end of the day he was part of an o-line that got the job done, including 0 sacks on Mahomes in the Superbowl. Good luck to him. That said, I don’t think he’s the difference if the Bengals and Chiefs have an AFC rubber match.
