Just give ‘em 2 first it’s not like we ever hit on them before last year

If we end up without Rodgers because Douglas was too stubborn to give a first and we go into next season with another dud at QB, Douglas should be fired immediately.
This isn’t a dick waving contest, Douglas has to get Rodgers onboard ASAP and stop dicking around because we’ve lost quite a lot of players to free agency and no replacements seem to be forthcoming while we’re in this Rodgers limbo.
You guys can all give it “don’t back down Joe” now, but when we’re 3-14 next season when all it would have taken to get Rodgers was a couple of firsts, we’ll look back and say he should have just done it.
In the last two drafts we’ve drafted 4 bonafide starters, we can afford to go one draft without a first rounder. Just don’t fuck this up.
I’m honestly sick of this shit. If GB wants to dig their heels in, let them. I’ll gladly tank another season and hope to draft Caleb Williams. We are missing out on OL/DL players left and right, while waiting to finish the deal and better understand our cap situation. I’m over it
If Joe D has proved anything it’s that he’s pretty good at these trades. Have some patience it will get done
This is my big worry about this. What if The Packers just up and say “No trade, we’ll just sit him” only for Rodgers to retire? It seems like no one (on either sub) thinks that’s a possibility. I feel like after he announced his intention to be a Jet and passively aggressively shitted on Green Bay, that’s a very real outcome.
