I already love this man
I became a fan of his during Hard Knocks. Dude showed so much heart and passion. Plus, it’s a huge bonus he’s an anime fan. I love the dude already!!!
Detroit probably thought David Montgomery was a better fit and went with him.
Reports are they offered him a similar deal as the saints, but he didn’t accept and wanted more, so then they offered Montgomery a deal because they didn’t want to be left without either, and Montgomery accepted.

There’s no way he matches his production from last year, particularly TDs so the Lions probably didn’t want to pay him at this peak value. That being said, RB dollars aren’t too crazy so I’m stoked about this signing. Still want that rookie RB though.
