Westbrook who’s been terrible from the line all year has made more clutch free throws than AD that’s unbelievable. Can’t believe they didn’t run a play to get Dennis open. Running immediately to the backcourt didn’t work at all
I feel like it’s in his head just like how he can’t hit threes anymore
A better inbounds play can keep a poor ft shooter on floor. Just lack of execution in the end.
Yeah mentioned in a different thread how it was bizarre that Austin shot technicals over Dennis and was told I was making it out to be a bigger deal than it is because they have similar FT percentages. But that’s overall and not showing the ones in the clutch. 14/14. If Dennis is on the floor he shoots them. Dennis hits the Ts,and I was told there were two attempted last night (I must’ve missed watching one), then even the Mavs three isn’t enough to tie it.
Shoutout to Dennis. He’s a killer at the line, no fear in his heart at all
For as much as Skip Bayless and others harp on LeBron’s “poor” free throw shooting (76%), him being 5/5 is amazing.

Schroeder is our best FT shooter overall. IDK if I am surprised or impressed. Idk what D’LO’s % are but he and Schroeder might be the only two I trust end of games with it.
Some numbers and stats are skewed but not this one . To shoot so Shaq like from the line late in games is pathetic when you are an 80% FT shooter

and Dennis could have gotten the ball, he ran to the backcourt but Austin looked like he was trying to pass the ball to AD kinda locked in him. It would be really interesting to know if that was Ham’s decision or sth that just happened in the heat of the moment
Get AD out on possessions when we need to hit FTs in the 4th
