  1. I hate this. I hate that. I hate it.

Imagine if this team were actually decent at OT. Holy fuck.

  2. This team is peak calgary flames. Too shit to make the playoffs, too good to get a good draft pick

  3. This season is truly just soul crushing. Every time there’s a glimpse of hope it’s a flurry of posts and an OT loss. Damn

  4. Season is so cursed its unreal. As soon as Dallas got possession with 20 seconds left, I somehow knew with total certainty that they were going to score.

  5. Man Markstrom wasn’t terrible and the team didn’t really do much for him defensively but none of those he gave up were great goals

  6. that’s likely it for the season, complete backbreaker

Huberdeau and Kadri were completely invisible in the most important game of the year so far

  7. Idk how to feel about that one tbh. Like games against Dallas are always fuckin wild for some reason but god damn did the Flames have some fight in them. That single point may help? Who knows man. Who knows.

  8. Anyone else get that gut wrenching feeling with 20 seconds left in OT? I just fucking knew it was coming

  9. Have we repented enough? When will it end? We should’ve never dabbled in dark forces beyond our comprehension.

  10. Fuck I feel so bad for Marky after that. 4 or even 5 of the 6 goals not on him at all, just total defensive incompetence. Heartbreaking especially after how good he’s been recently. Watching him break his stick made me so sad 🙁

  11. 4 posts sucks, but 6GA on 26 shots… like cmon.

I’ll just accept the replies about how Markstrom somehow bailed us out with 700 goaltending, but outside of the first period the team locked it down defensively. Nothing we can do. 15 OTLs… incredible. Huberdeau and Kadri when the season was on the line… yikes.

Weegar-Andersson could be two incredible pieces to build the back end however. Those two showed all the heart in the world. Same with Backs and Coleman.

  12. In a vacuum I think most of us would be happy going 2-0-1 against a division leader like Dallas, too bad we played so bad against beatable opponents this season. The games against Chicago, Ottawa, Montreal, Columbus and Detroit will come back to haunt us this season.

  13. The singular most unlucky season I’ve ever witnessed. If you sit back as a neutral observer and view it as a farce it really is good entertainment.

  14. I’m a panthers fan stopping by to watch the boys play and see how they are doing. Weegar looked great on both ends and from what I’ve heard that’s been the case all season.

What the hell did you guys do to my boy Johnny hubs. Homie looked like an absolute ghost out there tonight. Barely heard his name and it didn’t seem like he facilitated play like he did in FLA.

Can’t really blame Marky for the goals but he has to find a way to make one more save when your team gives you 5 goals. He did not unfortunately

  15. Still not over. 10/14 points in their past 7. If they can maintain that pace, they have a really good chance. They need to win a few in a row here though.

The only thing keeping my hope up is they’re playing like they need to for it to be possible.

It’d be great for Kadri or Huberdeau to show up one of these days though. 12 goals in 2 games, and they contributed how much of that?

  16. Man I hope Huby is ready to go for next season when that monster contract kicks in or else Lucic’s contract this year is going to look like a steal in comparison.
