I was there at the O-rena when they chose Penny over Webber. Wasn’t real popular at the time lol. Had Nick Anderson hit more free throws they would have had a ring.
This is what caused them to change the lottery rules. If I recall correctly, all lottery teams had the same odds, it wasn’t weighted in any way like it is now.
