  1. Shouldn’t even be a question. It’s Magic, and it’s not even remotely debatable.

  2. Magic and probably will remain that way for a very long time. Forgot his name but I’ll go with dude from the spurs at second best or Webber

  3. Better question is who is the worst Michigan-born NBA player? Assuming that the player was at least on a roster for a full season and no two-way contract bullshit.

  4. i can’t stand magic johnson and even i would say this is blatant disrespect lol

  5. Make a new post and ask who’s the second best cause it’s so obvious who’s first tbf lol

  6. It’s Magic and not even close. Watching the Lakers/Buss family doc on Hulu, Magic said his plan after being drafted by the Lakers was to play his rookie contract then sign with Detroit.

Dr. Buss wisely built a strong personal relationship that convinced Erving to spend his career there. I imagine the lifestyle certainly helped, too.

  7. Magic. List didn’t include Jason Richardson, Glen Rice, Derrick Coleman, Terry Mills, Roy Tarpley, Rudy Tomjanovich and many more cats.

  8. john long belongs on this list with some of the other inclusions..but would land far behind magic

  9. There are guys like Howard Eisley, BJ Armstrong, Charlie Bell III, Shane Battier, Voshon Leonard, there is a whole host of guys, who carved out serious careers…

  10. Don’t need the rest of the list after Magic, but since there is one, where is Battier?

  11. Surprised Jason Richardson wasn’t included

But it’s obviously Magic, dude was the face of the league at one point and still talked about too this day. Next is might be either Iceman, C.Webb or DBook, leaning Iceman though

  12. Magic is the easy winner in my book, and I am a Wolverine fan. Dude was on another level and could play every position.

  13. 1) I don’t think Rick Barry is from Michigan, 2) magic hands down is the best, 3) Kuzma in no way should be on this list (Jason Richardson, Dan Majerle, and my little sister are all better, 4) I think Glenn Rice is # 2.
