  1. I had one, too, and watched it to death. I also had the 97 one, “A Sock-cess Story” that I also watched to death đź‘Ť

  2. Holy shit, this vhs is what made me fall in love with Cleveland baseball I think. Used to watch it all the time as a kid.

  3. I loved this video, it highlights so many cool moments that I vividly remember watching live as a kid but it skipped ALOT from that season particularly the postseason. I grew up thinking the Tribe were the darlings of the AL when probably the whole world wanted Griffey and Johnson in the World Series over us especially after they beat the Yankees.

Obviously since this is made by the Indians PR staff it was going to leave some stuff out:

    Albert Belle threatening Hannah Storm

    Alberts Corked bat stuff

    Albert destroying the thermostat

Eddie Murray releasing a statement instead of talking to media during the World Series

They were a cocky bunch (they won 100 games, they were entitled to be cocky) and by the end of the World Series it seemed like all media was pulling for Ted Turner and the Braves since they had been there before and hadn’t won and that they were “friendly” with the media, something the Indians were not.

I love that 95 team. It made me love Baseball. I wore out my Albert Belle jersey shirt in the back yard as a kid. I watched the FUCK out of Cleveland Rocks. But looking back, they had some problems/issues.

  4. Oh man, the other awesome tape that year was “Wahoo! What a Finish”

Basically all walk offs from 94/95
